I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and its many blessings. The first I really knew of this Science was through the healing of my brother-in-law, when all material means had failed. This stands out to me yet as quite as wonderful as some of the healing work in Bible times.
A few years later, when I had been told by the physician that there was nothing left for me but an operation, my sister offered me Christian Science treatment by a practitioner who was coming to our town to visit. I accepted, and the work started. I was told what I had to do, and. having been taught as a child to be obedient, I followed directions. I had not slept without an opiate for about three months, but the first night was peaceful. After the first week my brother-in-law took up the work. The internal itching, which had been almost unbearable, soon stopped, but all of the outward manifestations of the hemorrhoids were some months in disappearing. This occurred about sixteen years ago, and the trouble has never returned. Following this healing minor chronic conditions just faded away.
I am grateful to be associated with a Christian Science Society, in which I have filled different offices, also for class instruction. Loving gratitude fills my heart for all these blessings, and many more.— Bowie, Texas.
