IT is with a deep sense of gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me, and in the hope that it may help others, that I give this testimony.
When Christian Science was presented to me by a friend, I was in a very poor state of health, and had been under medical treatment for two and a half years for diabetes. During this time I was on a very strict diet, but continued to get worse, and suffered much from weakness. What I heard about Christian Science gave me hope. I purchased the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and began to study it. I am very grateful to the friend who so lovingly helped me during those dark days. I tried daily to seek first the kingdom of God and not the healing of a diseased condition. Within three months I knew I was healed; and friends all remarked how well I was looking. That was five years ago.
