I have never known any religion but Christian Science and my early home training has made it natural in time of need to turn to God first and trust in Him.
A few years ago I took a tumble and landed on my arm. It happened so quickly that the first thing I realized was that I was repeating "the scientific statement of being," and that I was saying it very firmly. One statement included reads (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 468): "All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all." Turning to God is always a glorious privilege, assuring the finest results. I prayed earnestly the rest of the evening, and when my usual bedtime came, I prepared for bed.
Around four o'clock I awakened in great pain and definitely in need of a practitioner's help. I managed to reach the phone, called, and found the practitioner was at home. After listening to the healing word I was able to walk from the phone and continued walking up and down for an hour or so clearing my thought of all claims of a power apart from God. I returned to bed, and no one was ever aware that I had not slept throughout the night.
