In response to readers' concerns about the glossy paper used in The Christian Science Journal in May, June, and July, we found (and used) an economical matte finish paper for the August issue that we feel is of appropriate quality for the Journal. However, supplies of this paper were only available for one issue at that time. Beginning with the January 1998 issue (or earlier, if possible), supplies of this particular paper will be available to us on an ongoing basis. In the meantime, we trust that our readers will bear with us as we use available supplies of a different matte paper stock.
