Dear Friends:
There is nothing more important on this planet than the revelation of divine Science, the Comforter promised in the Bible by Christ Jesus.
When Mary Baker Eddy wrote Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, the book that fully explains this Comforter to humanity, she expected readers to live its teachings, to heal and to be healed. She wrote of the great Exemplar, "Jesus established his church and maintained his mission on a spiritual foundation of Christ-healing" (p. 136). The institution of Church as described in her book forwards Christ-healing, and church members hold in common their love and desire to share with receptive hearts this book that reveals the saving Truth. What could be more unifying than the honest desire that Christ-healing be more fully practiced in our own lives and more widely recognized in society?
