The "Church Unconfined" thread on the discussion boards at tmcyouth.com is a great place to explore ideas, to ask questions, and to share insights about church. Here are some excerpted posts from members of the Christian Science Society, Chandigarh, India, on what their church means to them.
OUR CHURCH IS A CHURCH WITHOUT WALLS.
And it really does mean a lot to me. I am a member of the Christian Science Society, Chandigarh, for the last two years. When someone introduced me to Christian Science, I was facing many trials, especially deep depression. The first time I attended Sunday services, the Sunday School teacher permitted me to attend Sunday School on my request as I had many questions. I asked her several questions and she answered all with lots of patience, and they were satisfying answers, too. I went home with lot of joy as I found a way which can change my life and I found one person (Sunday School teacher) in the whole world who can really tell me who I am. What a warm welcome!
