Here am I

I am here . . .
To serve, not to demand.
To give, not to get.
To love, not to seek love.
To share, not to withhold.
To let go, not to pursue.
To shine, not to seek the spotlight.
To be about my Father’s business, not my own.

Self-forgetfulness does not mean
I’ll be forgotten or left out
but that an even higher sense of identity,
beauty, satisfaction,
freedom, peace, and joy
is being revealed to me
by my divine source.

Where God is, we are.
Never forgotten,
always with Him, already loved, whole, and free.
“Here am I; send me” 1
to shine God’s glory.

1Isaiah 6:8.
