The annual per capita tax of members of The Mother Church is due June 1 but may be paid at any time during the year. The per capita tax of members uniting in November is reckoned from the preceding June, this being the beginning of the church year.
In the history of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, London, England, in the September Journal, mention is made of a debt resting on the building site. We are now informed that in the interim between the sending of the article to this office and its publication, the debt has been paid off, and a substantial sum is now in hand toward the erection of a church edifice.
