Beginning with September, the post office department, as a measure of economy, is shipping all magazines to central distributing points by fast freight, instead of by the regular fast mail trains. Under the present ruling of the post office department, all unclaimed copies of periodicals are immediately destroyed, unless a forwarding order from the addressee is on file. It is therefore advisable that subscribers to our periodicals inform us in advance of any contemplated change in address; or, if this is not practicable, a forwarding address should be left with the local post office, that there may be no loss of our periodicals through non-delivery.
