Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

"THE SPIRIT GIVETH LIFE"

The Christian Science organization, with its literature, church services, practice of healing, lectures, is meeting human needs, or rather, it is bringing the attention of humanity to the availability of divine help in every time of need. The human sense, which is entertained by mankind, is material, and it is found to have in the experience of an individual a transitory, not a substantial basis.

THE TALENT OF HEALING

Christian Science reveals the grand fact that health is a divine activity, that it originates in divine Mind, and is governed by divine law. Mortals, ignorant of this fact and believing health to be a condition of matter, have sought out many inventions in the vain endeavor to restore by material means that which is essentially a mental condition.

"NEITHER NEW MOON, NOR SABBATH"

That is what the husband of the Shunammite said long ago. —"It is neither new moon, nor sabbath.

THE REAPPEARING OF CHRIST

Bells of joy, bells of liberty, bells of praise and of thanksgiving, bells of triumph and of victory, have rung out during the year now closing and have rung in a promised era of peace and progress, with a sound and a meaning for all Christendom unique in the history of mankind. THE DISTRIBUTION OF LITERATURE

Much has been said in praise of our literature, and much has been advised as to the method of its distribution. Like all other forms of work, it has sprung from a vital need and has a definite idea back of it.

RIGHTEOUS THINKING

To such proportions has the demonstration of Christian Science advanced that every day is replete with healing experiences. When one reads in the periodicals and hears in the Wednesday evening meetings the testimonies of healing, and sees and learns of the liberty and unspeakable joy that come to sick, sinful, discordant, and despondent mortals through the study and application of this teaching, he has conclusive proof of the power of divine Mind as expressed in righteous thinking, and of the fact that God heals.

SUPPORT

In his talk with his disciples in the quiet of the "upper chamber," in the hour preceding his victory in Gethsemane, Jesus told them, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. " The spiritual interpretation of this reason for the greater works is given by Mrs.

PRAYER

The search for the law underlying all phenomena is a preeminent characteristic of modern thought. The spirit of inquiry has found no resting place in matter or material energy; so it pushes its quest into the realm of the divine.
