Seven years ago I was first healed in Christian Science. I had a severe attack of pleurisy with some complications and was very ill before a practitioner was called, but after the first treatment I had no fear. In one week I was able to sit up, and was soon entirely well. This healing was to me very wonderful, as two years before this I had a similar attack and with an excellent doctor and most competent nurse was in bed three weeks and practically an invalid for several months; in fact, some of the troubles were not overcome until I was treated in Christian Science.
Since that time I have been healed of rheumatism and some minor complaints, and feel that I have indeed much to be grateful for. The physical healing is, however, of little value when compared with my spiritual awakening, and for this I owe to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, my deep gratitude.— Groton, Conn.
