OH, FEAR THOU NOT!

From the May 1941 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Oh, fear thou not! Oh, trust God's goodness
Trust His tender, loving care!
Oh, doubt not that His love enfolds thee,
And now, with joy, receive thy share;
Receive thy share—then share it gladly;
Stint not, nor limit Love's supply.
Yea, share with all alike Truth's blessings;
God's goodness is forever nigh.

Each angel thought God sends His children
Bears riches far beyond earth's gold;
When rightly used it will supply thee
With treasures new—exchanged for old!
Share light when others' paths seem dreary,
Share peace when all seems toil and strife;
Give freely of thy every blessing,
'Twill lift thee to a higher life,

A life resplendent with true glory.
Love's cup now filled to overflow
Will help you thus to comfort others,
And you no lack shall ever know.
Oh, fear thou not! No need is greater
Than this—our spiritual supply;
Whate'er thy need may be, remember
That God hath blessed thee from on high.
