In closet of thought,
reading by morning light...
prophets' words, lives,
weave strong spare threads
of spiritual ideas in
loom of thought.
Then too,
the Master's parables, works
(weft and warp of Christ's fabric
of honest, selfless living)
become my garment of
Christly inspiration.
I'm ready now,
with the Word,
my inspiration clothed in revelation,
as I step forth to dress
humanity in love.
