Letters & Conversations
Clear Thinking [Peter Wilson, “ The practicality of the dragnet parable ,” Journal, May 2021] I love the clear thinking in this Spiritual Short. It is so helpful in the thought-sorting process we are all actively doing.
Comforted by article Thank you to Margaret Jane Seymour for “ Our secure dwelling place ” (Journal, April 2021). My doorbell rang in the middle of the night.
Understand more [Deborah Huebsch, “ The healing power of oneness ,” Journal, March 2021] Thank you for this deep and beautiful article. For the most part, I didn’t like Principle as a synonym for God.
More on the infinite [Judy Wolff, “ Do numbers have power over you? ” Journal, February 2021] I’ve read some articles talking about the infinite, but this one is deeper. I wish there were more articles going deeper on this subject.
JOY TO BE REMINDED [Alexandre Fischer, “ The power of today ,” Journal, January 2021] This article by Alexandre lifted my spirits today. What a joy to be reminded of the “newness” of God’s goodness.
Clarity and depth [Mary Gottschalk, “ ‘Dear Christ, forever here and near,’ ” Journal, December 2020] Mary Gottschalk’s article just pulled me in with its clarity and depth. I loved this statement of hers: “Disease is not an actual, unknown invader lurking around every corner.
A blessing [Steve Warren, “ The God who sees me ,” Journal, November 2020] This article is truly a blessing. All problems are from ignorance of God and of our relationship to Him.
Powerful article [Jürgen Kurt Stark, “ Spirituality: The essential basis of morality ,” Journal, October 2020] Wow! What a powerful article! A treatment for mankind and the world. I’m so grateful for the depth of the author’s understanding expressed in this article.
Inspiring biography [Continuing the Conversation, Tony Lobl, “ The ultimate life story, now searchable online ,” Journal, September 2020] What an opportunity to read this very inspiring biography of Mary Baker Eddy. I have heard many Christian Science lecturers refer to it.
Our own angels [Ruth Geyer, “ Wrestle the angel ,” Journal, August 2020] This article gives such a special and relatable meaning to Jacob’s experience with his angel. I appreciate the reminder that we each have our own angels ready to bless.
