Letters & Conversations
Opportunity for growth [Heike Arneth, “ Evil exposed and dissolved ,” Journal, March 2022] I needed this article! And I am so grateful to know that I do not need to hold on to long-held beliefs about myself or anyone else. Such a freeing, expanding, and exciting opportunity for spiritual growth.
Got me thinking [Ruth Geyer, “ The healing deep dive ,” Journal, February 2022] This article was written with such warmth and grace. Usually, I think of going up higher to seek God’s love and guidance when faced with an issue, so the thought of diving deeper really got me thinking.
Amazing healing [Aaron Dyer, “ Severe illness, fear of dying overcome ,” Journal, January 2022] This was such an amazing healing, showing forth courage and persistence. The way the author explained that we cannot be hypnotized into believing that discord and suffering are true for ourselves or anyone else was most helpful.
Wonderful Christmas gift [Jan Keeler Vincent, “ Christmas and a truer sense of Love ,” Journal, December 2021] What a wonderful Christmas gift! If we follow these God-given thoughts, Christmas will bring to the world the pure gifts of Love that bless all—even so-called enemies. Bernice Doane via JSH-Online.
Reading many more times [Abigail Mathieson Warrick, “The transforming radiance of Pentecost,” Journal, November 2021] This article had me at the very first sentence: “If you have ever felt the ground drop out from under your feet— your whole life turned upside down—there is a world of joy waiting to bless you more deeply and lastingly than you can imagine. ” I’m so grateful to be witnessing this unfold in my own life after losing my husband and business partner.
A two-thousand-year-old story still engages our modern world. A man’s birth is still globally recognized.
Eye-opening perspective [Bob Cochran, “ Don’t believe in ‘world belief,’ ” Journal, October 2021] This article brought me an eye-opening perspective. It helped me understand what it is that would seem to oppose our work in Christian Science.
Grateful for reminder [Karen Neff, “ Filled with the Christ-spirit, ” Journal, September 2021] With so much going on in the world, I went to JSH-Online. com and did a word search for mesmerism, then chose “Newest First.
Timely and insightful [Blythe Evans, “ Conquering ‘impostor syndrome’ in healing, ” Journal, August 2021] Blythe’s message is timely, insightful, and clearly expressed. The minute I saw the title, I recognized the imposition on my thought.
Inspired messages Our national political dialogue had become very troubling for me, but the July 2021 issue of the Journal included several articles that were inspired messages that spoke strongly to my concerns. They presented our divine right to self-government and gave practical examples of how to differentiate the pure ideas of divine Mind from the destructive suggestions of mortal mind.
