A contemporary editor repudiates Christian Science on the ground that "Christian is sectarian and local." But this same editor seems to make capital out of his quondam standing as a Christian minister in the Methodist Church, which now grants his meetings a place within its walls. If Christian is sectarian, Christ was a sectarist in establishing a Church; and we are willing to share with him in this ignominy, without disparagement of any light which may shine where the Star of Bethlehem has not shed its beams.
