Notes and Comments

From the November 1886 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Rev. Geo. B. Day being called upon by the President, said:

Christian Science in the West is growing very rapidly, but none too much so; for the false claims of mortal mind are asserting on every hand that men are true and real. But when the true seed of the Christ-Principle is sown, their foundations tremble, and their rock crumbles to dust. The false position on this subject is becoming nauseous to the real seekers of Truth.

I say it, with gratitude to my beloved Teacher Mrs. Eddy, that nothing can move us from the path of Truth; and I find that whatever appears true to a false mortal sense, disappears as we advance.
