Portland, Me., Oct. 1st.
Dear Dr. Brown:—I am rejoiced to be able to tell you that the last vestige of the tumor has disappeared. I cannot tell you how thankful I am that the dear Lord directed me to you. The idiot boy is so changed that you would hardly recognize him. He is so quiet and nice, his parents are quite proud of him. When I think how he used to totter from one room to another, muttering all kinds of incoherent gibberish, and see him now so nice, I say to myself, What will not Christian Science do?
