Editor Christian Science Journal:—In accordance with my convictions of right, and desire to do good to all whom I can, I send you the following statement of my case, and the wonderful cure effected by Christian Science, through Mrs. O. E. Stevenson, of Beatrice.
I had been an invalid for over six years. I could walk only on crutches, and then not more than one-eighth of a mile. I had tried all remedies known to me, and all without avail. On June 12th. 1886, I sought the aid of the above named lady. I took four treatments. On the eighth day I walked two miles without crutches, my other complaints disappearing in proportion. In three weeks, I performed two and one-half days' work in the Barley harvest with comfort. I thank God for Christian Science.
