Rev. Mrs. M. B. G. Eddy:—To the Founder of Christian Science I cannot express my sincere gratitude and enthusiasm. I was a great sufferer for over two years, being afflicted with the Cerebro-Spinal Meningitis, and at the point of death for many weeks, also a very severe trouble with my knee, rendering me unable to walk at all for months, being an inmate of the Homoeopathic Hospital for a long period, returned home and gradually growing worse, my only hope was a return to the Hospital, where an operation would have been performed. Then a friend advised me to see Mrs. M. J. Smith, of Allston. I did so Dec. 1st, 1885; was under her care seven weeks; and was restored to perfect health, and have remained so since.
