Considering it a duty I owe to the world and suffering humanity, I desire to bear testimony to the great benefit I have received from treatments by a Christian Scientist of Luther. A year ago last November I was afflicted with what the physicians pronounced an abscess. I suffered great pain for two weeks, and then was obliged to take to my bed. One week after, the sore broke. I was unable to leave my bed for three months. I suffered intense pain, was unconscious part of the time, and was partially paralyzed. I could not lift my hands to do anything for two months after the doctors pronounced me well; they having prevented it from opening on the outside, merely scattering it, so that every little while the sore would gather again. I was left at their mercy, and all they knew was how to deal out poisonous drugs and run up large accounts. I became very tired of this kind of work, and also knew it would eventually lead to consumption. Three weeks ago I called on a lady friend, and she advised me to try treatments with Mrs. Albright. I made up my mind that it could do no harm, and believed it would do what the physicians had failed to do,—give permanent cure. To my great joy and satisfaction, after being treated three weeks, I can call myself perfectly well. Other ailments were also cured.
