Dear Journal: I am above forty years old. Since my earliest recollection I have been afflicted with that terrible disease catarrh, and have suffered as only those who are afflicted in like manner can understand. Because of the offensiveness of my breath, I shrank from society. My parents sought and employed the best medical skill. Since marriage, my husband has procured everything in which he had any reason to look for help; but all to no purpose.
I had no faith that Christian Science would reach my case, but accepted the treatment with honest purpose, and willingness to admit, and give credit for, any benefit I might receive.
Today I am well; and I am glad to give this testimony to the healing power of Christianity. Free from suffering, my breath no longer offensive, what a blessed relief!
