I came here Monday. Tuesday morning, at 9 o'clock, I was called to a lady suffering from a belief of bloody dysentery. They had two allopathic physicians from New York, who failed to relieve her. Becoming alarmed, the family telegraphed for a homoeopathic physician in Portland, who replied he could not come till next morning. The patient was very low, when someone told her that a Scientist was in the house and wished to see her. The lady called me at nine. In four hours she had a perfectly natural movement of the bowels, and all symptoms of disease left her at six the same afternoon; so they telegraphed the Portland physician not to come, as the patient was perfectly well.
Lovingly yours,
Jackson, N. H.
