COLLEGE NOTICE

From the October 1889 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Because of the earnest appeals from those desiring to study at the Mass. Met. College, I hereby announce, that General Erastus N. Bates, of Chicago, will take full control of the business and teaching of the aforesaid Institution for the term of three years. He will be in Boston October 1st, and instruct a class early in the month. All former applications to the college will be put into his hands. All future correspondence must be addressed to him at 571 Columbus Avenue, Boston. Mrs. Mary B. G. Eddy, Dr. E. J. Foster-Eddy, and Calvin A. Frye have withdrawn their membership of the College Corporation and four new members are elected.

Dr. Eddy has proven his ability as teacher in the Primary, Obstetric, and Normal classes in the college; but he wishes for more time to ponder his mission, before entering fully upon his work.
