From the April 1893 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall lie do also; and greater works than these shall he do because I go to my Father." Jesus.

DARE to stand forth in the strength of his promise,
Wield the sword fearlessly whet with his love;
Dare to tread firmly on serpents and scorpions,
"They shall not sting you," resounds from above.

Christ bids you rise to your conscious dominion,
Life calls to action, obey Truth's behest;
Love's constant whisper is, "Man is immortal;"
Dear one, press on to the realm of the blest.
