The First Church of Christ, Scientist, have filed articles of incorporation with Register of Deeds Kenyon within the last day or two. Among other things the articles make the following declarations: First, that the corporate name by which said church hereby to be formed shall be known and distinguished is and shall be the First Church of Christ, Scientist, and shall be located in or near the city of Appleton Outagamie county, Wisconsin. Second, that the object for which said corporation is formed is for the establishment and the maintenance of a church by which the religious, charitable and educational methods of Christian Science as set forth in the Scriptures of the old and new testaments and the book "Science and Health" by Mrs. M. B. G. Eddy, shall be taught and practiced, to restore and preserve health, and elevate man physically, morally and spiritually. Third, that the number of directors of said corporation shall be and are five in number, and that the names and residences of said directors who shall manage its concerns are as follows: Anna E. Beusher, Matida Erling, Thomas Schuette, Fred Hanselmann and Sarah J. Schuette.—Appleton (Wis.) Post.
