About three years ago I was a very sick man. I was so exhausted that I could hardly venture away from home. I went to four different physicians,—one sending me to another,—and one of them told me that I could not live. Another said he would have to operate, but could give me no hope of recovery. He said that the disease was of a malignant nature. After several months of experiment with these physicians, and receiving no benefit from them, I thought the only help would be in God. I called on a Christian Science practitioner, and told him I did not know why I should not be healed in one treatment, just as Jesus healed the sick. The practitioner said that with God all things are possible, and gave me a treatment. I was relieved immediately, and on the third day I went to the practitioner, told him that I was well, and paid him one dollar for the treatment which he had given me. I have been well ever since, and I wish to express my thanks to God for this great truth which has been revealed through Mrs. Eddy. It gives me great pleasure to give this testimony, as I have been a different man since that time and have had no sickness to contend with; for which I am very grateful.
