While it is not long since I began the study of Christian Science, there have been a number of beautiful healings in our home. These have meant much to me, a beginner, being the proof of God's power and care, and my ambition is that my life may be a fitting witness to my deep thankfulness to God and my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy.
One morning our three year old baby awakened with a severe attack of stomach and bowel trouble, attended by vomiting and high fever. As we have no telephone, it was not until after church that we could reach a Christian Science practitioner. All this time the baby had been lying in a stupor, except for the terrible attacks of vomiting, but before my husband had returned home, after talking to the practitioner, the child suddenly sat up in my arms and said he was all right. The healing was instantaneous and complete. Before coming into Science I had to be very careful as to the baby's diet, because of these attacks, but now nothing hurts him, and he is a fine, healthy boy.
Christian Science means more to us every day. We have used no medicines of any kind since 1911. Our son has been attacked by whooping-cough, scarlet fever, and measles, but in each instance he was quickly healed by Christian Science.— Memphis, Tenn.
