It is eight years since I first began the study of Christian Science, which has proven to be one of the greatest blessings I have ever known. I am so grateful for the truth it teaches about man's relation to God; it makes all good come to him here and now. I am truly thankful for the many healings I have had through the power of Truth. After having worn glasses for fifteen years for nearsightedness, said to be inherited, I was enabled to discard them, and I have not had any need for them since I laid them aside eight years ago. I first came to Christian Science for treatment for my eyes, but since reading and studying the authorized literature my health has gradually improved till I scarcely know myself. I have been healed of influenza, rheumatism, headache, weak back, and extreme nervousness.
For all the good that I have received through Christian Science I am indeed thankful to God. When I think of the great work Mrs. Eddy did in giving to mortals the true idea of God as ever present Mind, it makes me more willing to give up this erring sense of life for a truer and more real sense as taught in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
