From the April 1924 issue of The Christian Science Journal

In December, 1913, one of our children became ill. We called a doctor, who diagnosed the case as erysipelas. In spite of medical treatment, the trouble grew more severe; and on the third day the doctor declared the case to be somewhat dangerous. Thereupon we asked for help form a Christian Science practitioner. She took up the case; and after an hour we noticed that the boy returned to a normal condition. The following morning he was entirely healed.

In the summer of 1917, while spending my vacation at my mother's, I suddenly became violently ill. My mother called in a doctor, who said I was suffering from rhematism in the joints. When, after three weeks of great suffering, there was no improvement, my husband asked the same Christian Science practitioner to help me. She paid me a visit at the place where I was spending my vacation. After a short time I began to feel better; and after ten days I had entirely recovered, and could travel home and attend to the duties of my home as before, to the great surprise of my mother. Since then we have relied on Christian Science entirely, so that we are now able to correct errors with the help of God.

All these blessings, which we have received from God through Christian Science, compel us to be very grateful indeed.—
