With a heart full of gratitude I am writing this testimony. After struggling for years in a sea of doubt, looking for truth, I turned to Christian Science as a relief from many sorrows. With the keys of truth it opened for me the gates of the eternal city, where Truth and Love alone reign; where sorrow and sickeness have melted away before the power of infinite Love; where superstition, racial hatred, and jealousy are unknown.
I am thankful for the healing I have had from indigestion and constipation, for which I had consulted many medical practitioners without result. At last I was advised by a medical man to try Christian Science or go to a sea resort. As I was hostile to any religion, I tried the sea resort; but instead of improving I became worse. Then I made my first trial of Christian Science by reading a few pamphlets, but hardly understood how Christian Science could bring healing to me. I afterwards consulted a practitioner in order to understand its teachings better. It is now over three years since I came to Science. I have not used any medicine during that time. I am quite well and happy, and try to gain more and more understanding of the truth. Christian Science has also been a great help to me in my business; and for this I am very thankful.
