It is no less a joy than a sacred duty to bear witness of the healing work done by Christian Science. I have experienced many healings, some instantaneously, others more slowly. Space will not permit the telling of all the good that has come to me through divine Love.
On one occasion I was suffering from neuralgia in its most acute form, the entire side of my face and neck being affected. I declared the truth as we are taught in Christian Science, but the intense pain in my eye and ear was fast becoming unbearable. I live in the country, so had no telephone to call a practitioner. Remembering, however, that God always hears, I prayed earnestly for help; and in a very short time a neighbor, who is a Christian Scientist, drove up. I explained the nature of my suffering and asked for treatment, which he gave willingly. At once the pain vanished. A tooth, however, which had an abscess at the root, still seemed very sensitive. I realized that God is indeed always present, and so enjoyed a night of rest, the first for several nights. The next morning this tooth was also normal. Not even the least symptom of this difficulty has returned.
So it is out of the depth of a heart filled with gratitude I write this testimony, trusting it may encourage another.— Casa Grande, Arizona.
