I am grateful for many blessings received through Christian Science. It has been my only physician since 1914. I was healed of chronic bowel trouble, pneumonia, tubercular growth, a severe case of blood poisoning, and general debility. I was also healed of the smoking habit, and of sin and sorrow. Christian Science has helped me financially, morally, and spiritually. I find it to be not only a curative, but also a preventive agency; for on several occasions I have been protected from serious accidents and diseases.
I am deeply grateful for Mrs. Eddy's works, and for the literature, including that newspaper of clean journalism, The Christian Science Monitor, which I cannot afford to be without. I am also grateful to kind and loving practitioners, who have helped me to solve many problems in Christian Science; grateful for membership in The Mother Church; for the activities in a branch church; and also for class instruction.—Chicago, Illinois.
