That Christian Science heals, I have been able to prove many times in the past fourteen years. It never fails when properly applied. Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." When we realize that man, made in the image and likeness of God, is perfect, always has been perfect, and always will be perfect, we are healed.
When I turned to Christian Science I was mentally and physically a wreck. Two doctors had told me it would be necessary for me to undergo two operations. I had a great fear of operations, and felt I would never live through one; so I turned to Christian Science as a last resort. Through the study of the Lesson-Sermons and of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was healed. I was also healed of catarrh from which I had suffered since childhood, and which many physicians told me could never be cured. A cough that had troubled me for ten years, though I consulted a great many throat specialists, receiving but temporary relief, was also healed through my study of Christian Science.
For all the blessings that have come to me through the study and practice of this Science I am unspeakably grateful to God, the Giver of all good; to Christ Jesus for his life and example; and to Mrs. Eddy for making these blessings available for all mankind.
