For over a year I suffered from a disease of the scalp, the result of which was that my hair came out very badly. The various kinds of material remedies which were applied were of no avail; on the contrary, the disease grew perceptibly worse, so that I was afraid I was going to lose all my hair.
Then my aunt called my attention to Christian Science. I read the wonderful testimonies of healing in Der Herold der Christian Science, began to attend the Christian Science services, and endeavored to adjust my thoughts as we are taught in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. It is true the falling out of the hair became somewhat less, but it was not altogether healed. So I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help, and to my great joy the healing was instantaneous. In a very short time I could observe that new hair had begun to grow all over my head. At the same time my mother was healed of a chronic stomach trouble. Whereas this complaint formerly caused her to suffer frequently from attacks of weakness and weariness, she is now healthy and happy.
