I wish to express my sincere gratitude for a wonderful proof of the healing power of Christian Science. Our small daughter was taken seriously ill, and it seemed imperative to send for her father at once. Upon his arrival a medical diagnosis was desired, and one of the best physicians called in. He named the condition bilateral chorea, which is the most acute form of St. Vitus's dance. He gave us no hope of her recovery. She was in great distress, and absolutely helpless, unable even to speak; and she could not sleep or rest a moment. I was greatly comforted to know that her mind was clear, because I could tell her the truth and let her know she would be healed. She was restored to perfect health and normal activity after only six weeks' treatment in Christian Science. She even kept her grade in school. This healing took place in May, 1924, and the child has had perfect health ever since.
We have three children, the eldest being sixteen years old, and Christian Science has been our only help at all times. Croup in its most acute form has been healed in a very few moments. Scarlet fever was overcome in a few days.
One is wonderfully blessed when able to realize God's loving care for His children at all times and in every way. I am grateful to God and to Mrs. Eddy for the understanding I have of Christian Science. I am very grateful to the practitioner and friends who so lovingly helped me in the care of our daughter.
