Christian Science has meant so much to me for such a long time that I feel I should be most ungrateful if I did not try to express some of the joy it has brought into my life. I came into it for the healing of nervous indigestion and constipation. This was very promptly accomplished with the help of a loving Christian Science practitioner. For years I had suffered from a condition of the nose for which, a specialist had told me, I would have to use a certain salve indefinitely, although he did not promise me any cure; and I had surely used many jars of it up to the time that Christian Science healed me. My husband and I have used no material remedies from the day we decided that this wonderful truth was what we needed, and the only physician we have turned to is God. I have also been healed of sick headaches, neuritis, and many other discordant conditions.
Christian Science was such a comfort to me in a time of great sorrow. It has brought us our needed supply whenever we have sought "first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness." Before I took up this wonderful religion, the Bible was a closed book to me; whereas, now, the Bible and the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, are my daily companions and are opening up a new world to me. It is impossible to express in mere words our deep appreciation for what Christian Science is doing for us and for all who seek it.— Portland, Oregon.
