In gratitude for all the blessings that Christian Science has brought into my life for more than fifteen years, I wish to add my testimony to those of the thousands who have found joy and freedom through the understanding of God and man as revealed through the consecrated, loving work of our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
I came to Christian Science for physical healing, and after two weeks of treatment was freed from severe backaches, the aftermath of a surgical operation. I was enabled at the same time to lay aside glasses which I had worn for reading and sewing I can see now how the manifestation of more perfect physical sight follows as one gains spiritual discernment. Since that time I have experienced many healings, physical and otherwise. Headaches, tonsillitis, constipation, severe hemorrhage, sprained ankle, infection, colds, and many other difficulties disappeared under the light of Truth, and many faults of disposition are gradually being overcome. I am becoming a little more charitable, a little more loving, and a little less selfish and critical than I was.
I am especially grateful for the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, which are indeed our daily food; also, for membership in The Mother Church, and for the loving help I have had along the way from faithful practitioners.— Washington, District of Columbia.
