I am very grateful for the blessings which have come to me through the study and understanding of Christian Science.
About five and a half years ago I was taken very ill and was unable to get up without assistance. The trouble was manifested as a form of rheumatism from which I had suffered on two occasions before I turned to the great Physician, God. I asked for help in Christian Science, and after the first treatment my condition began to improve, slowly but surely. Not only was I lifted out of physical suffering, but I experienced wonderful and inspiring spiritual uplifting and peace, as a result of the understanding that man is not material, but spiritual. The words of Christ Jesus, "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free," were verified in my experience.
Mere words cannot express my gratitude for Christian Science and my appreciation for the loving help of my teacher, my nurse, and others who assisted me. I am very grateful for class instruction, for the privilege of teaching in the Sunday school, and also for our periodicals.— Denver, Colorado.
