It is with great joy I can tell of the healing truth which is ours in the proper understanding of the Bible as given us in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
Almost eight years ago, when first Christian Science was presented to me, I had been suffering with a continuous headache for about three months. A nose and throat specialist and an eye specialist very patiently worked to uncover the trouble, but after many treatments during these three months there was no relief. I had worn glasses for years, for sewing and reading, and then it seemed they must be worn continually, so a new pair was purchased. Three weeks after starting the study of Christian Science with the help of a most loving practitioner the discordant condition disappeared, and all medical remedies were cast aside, together with the glasses, and they have never been used since. That was my first healing, but those which have followed have been just as beautiful, and this not only with myself but with another member of the family also.
I am truly grateful to God and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave us Christian Science. I am grateful to the practitioner who helped me to find this truth, and to practitioners all over the world who are working in the Father's vineyard. There has been a spiritual uplift which has come to me through the study of Christian Science, for which I am more grateful than words can tell, and that I may in thought and deeds express my gratitude is my daily prayer.— Narberth, Pennsylvania.
