THE accumulated experience of mankind has shown repeatedly that no credence should be given to anonymous communications. Now and then, however, inquiries may indicate that a warning on this subject is required. In a recent instance, investigation has disclosed that anonymous circulars sent to a considerable number of practitioners and teachers in Canada and in the northern parts of the United States, purporting to be from a committee or group, ate misleading as to their contents, and would appear to be the work of a single person.
