Dear Friends:
We, the members of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship in annual session, desire to express that we are humbly aware of the great and unique opportunities in our work. The grandeur of these opportunities is only excelled by the sacredness of the obligation to identify ourselves in such a measure with our Christ-mission that the Word of God rather than its exponent is seen and felt.
We recognize with deepest gratitude your steadfast prayer, your loving wisdom, and unfailing cooperation which, under God's guidance, are bringing us nearer to our common goal and life-purpose, as stated in the rousing words of Mrs. Eddy: "to impress humanity with the genuine recognition of practical, operative Christian Science" (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 207). The movement founded and fostered by our great Leader is in its progressive unfoldment universal and all-embracing. Joyfully we stand with you in the consecrated defense and furthering of our exalted Cause.
Lovingly,
