If I am then the guest of God, may I
Not well rejoice? My every need is met.
None sick, no sinner there; our Father's board
Is laid abundantly. There is no lack
Of any lovely thing; and in His house
There is sufficient room for all. No blind,
Nor deaf, nor lame; for all are whole—I am,
Oh, glorious peace, in goodly company!
The countenance of each dear fellow guest
Is fair to see, for Love is everywhere.
My thoughts are pure; I have no fear, for I
Rejoice to know I am the guest of God.
