Articles, Poems, and Testimonies
The Christian Science Publishing Society accepts religious articles and religious poems only from members of The Mother Church. Contributions from them are cordially welcomed Metaphysical or religious articles intended for The Christian Science Journal, the Christian Science Sentinel, or The Christian Science Monitor should be sent to The Christian Science Publishing Society, Journal and Sentinel Editorial Department, 107 Falmouth Street Boston, Massachusetts. This request applies also to articles and poems intended for any edition of The Herald of Christian Science, but articles and poems for the Heralds must be suitable for prior publication in the Journal or the Sentinel. A memorandum for contributors of religious articles and poems can be obtained from the Journal and Sentinel Editorial Department by request.
Convincing testimonies of Christian Science healing are also desired by the Journal and Sentinel Editorial Department. Each testimony must be signed by a person who either experienced the healing or was closely connected with it. Each testimony must be verified preferably by three members of The Mother Church who either know of the healing or can vouch for the integrity of the testifier. The testifier should obtain these verifications. If he is not acquainted with three members of The Mother Church, his affidavit may be sufficient. In that case, however, he should obtain verification from one or two members of The Mother Church if he can. Complete addresses of the testifier and those who vouch for him should be furnished with each testimony.
Source of Quotations
Contributors to the periodicals of articles, poems, and testimonies are asked to note that the source of all quotations, direct or indirect, should be given when the contribution is sent in. The name of the author and of the work from which the quotation is taken, together with the chapter and page, should be specified.
From the Clerk of The Mother Church
Admission to Membership in The Mother Church
Applications for admission to membership in The Mother Church may be sent to the Clerk at any time throughout the year. It is desirable that applications should be forwarded in ample time so that they may receive the essential preliminary attention before the date of election. The receipt of an application by the Clerk does not make the applicant a member. Applications are acted upon by the Board of Directors, twice each year, as provided by the Manual of The Mother Church, Article XIII, Section 2.
The receipt of all applications is acknowledged by the Clerk; and on the date set for consideration, notice of acceptance or rejection is sent by the Clerk to those whose applications have been received in time. Should an applicant not receive such notice he requested to communicate with the Clerk before forwarding a second application '
The next meeting of the Board for this purpose occurs November 6 1931 Applications to be acted upon at that time should reach the Clerk by October 23 1931 Applications received too late for consideration in October will be placed on file for the June 1932 admission.

Church Tenets for Use of Branch Organizations
The Tenets of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist for the us. of branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, are printed on sheets containing space for addin the application forms for membership in branch organizations, or extracts from their by laws. Because the Tenets of The Mother Church are copyrighted, branch organization' may not print these Tenets as part of their by-laws or on application forms for member ship in their organizations. Copies for either purpose may be secured from the Clerk of The Mother Church at seventy-five cents a hundred, the minimum order. The large size is for application forms, the small size for binding into booklets Unless otherwise specified the large size will be sent. Remittances should accompany all orders and be made payable to the order of the Clerk of The Mother Church. Postage stamps should not be sent in payment.
The Tenets may also be obtained in either size, printed on alternate pages in English and German, English and French, or English and Italian.

From the Church Treasurer
Per Capita Tax, as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13 is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church," and "shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer." This tax of "not less than one dollar" may be paid at any time during the fiscal year (May 1, 1931, to April 30, 1932), but should be forwarded preferably during the six months' period from October, 1931, to March, 1932. When remitting, please inform the Treasurer of any change in your permanent address.
Contributions to the Charitable Institutions Fund, Promotion and Extension Fund The Christian Science Benevolent Association in Boston, The Christian Science Pleasant View Home in Concord, New Hampshire, Christian Science Benevolent Association on Pacific Coast, Publishing House Building Fund, and to the various other Funds of The Mother Church, such as the General Fund, Real Estate Fund, and Endowment Fund, are acceptable.
Please make all remittances payable to Edward L. Ripley, Treasurer, and send them to him at 206 Massachusetts Avenue, Back Bay Station, Boston, Massachusetts.

Since the publication of the Edition De Luxe of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy in blue levant last year, there have been numerous calls for the same edition in black levant. To meet this demand the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy have authorized the publication of this edition also in black levant, and this new black Edition De Luxe is now ready. The new edition takes the place of the levant edition in divinity circuit binding, which is now discontinued.

"Retrospection and Introspection" Now Published in Revised Braille
Announcement is made by the Publishers of Mrs. Eddy's Works of the printing of "Retrospection and Introspection," by Mary Baker Eddy, in the Revised Braille system of type for the blind. This new edition of Mrs. Eddy's autobiography appears in one volume of 137 pages, size 10½ x 11¼ inches. By the use of interpointing, or printing on both sides of the page, it has been possible to produce a Braille volume considerably smaller in size and bulk than heretofore. The first two pages of each volume give an explanation of the Braille system and also the complete Braille alphabet, as well as punctuation marks, numerals, and part-word signs, for the benefit of those who desire to learn to read Braille.

New Editions of Science and Health in Blue
The call from the Field for color in the binding of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" has been so insistent that the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy have authorized the publication of two new editions of the textbook in color.
In selecting a color, the universal combination of blue and gold seen in the sky and sunshine seemed to present the most pleasing effect, and so the new editions are bound in blue and stamped in gold.
The pocket edition of Science and Health is now obtainable in blue morocco, as well as in standard black morocco, printed on Oxford India Bible paper, limp, round corners, gilt edges, single copy $5.00; six or more, each $4.75.

"Rudimental Divine Science" and "No and Yes," by Mary Baker Eddy, are now published in the Danish, Dutch, French, German, Norwegian, and Swedish languages. Each translation is in one volume with alternate pages of English and the translation, and is issued in both library and pocket editions, uniform in size with the library and pocket editions of other writings by Mrs. Eddy.

Announcement is made of the publication of a new large levant edition of the "Concordance to Science and Health" and also of the "Concordance to Miscellaneous Writings and Works Other Than Science and Health."
The new Concordances are printed on India Bible paper from the large plates used in printing the former stiff morocco editions, and are greatly improved, being bound in levant leather-lined gold-stamped covers. Hungarian Translation
A Hungarian translation of the religious article in The Christian Science Monitor is published once a month. This is the second language added this year, the first article in Czech having appeared in April.
All members of The Mother Church are eligible to contribute religious articles for the Monitor, just as they may write for the other periodicals. Since the religious articles in the Monitor are handled by the Editors of the Journal, the Sentinel, and the Heralds, all manuscripts of a religious nature should be sent to The Christian Science Publishing Society, Journal and Sentinel Editorial Department, 107 Falmouth Street, Boston, Massachusetts.
Black De Luxe Bible

Todd Portrait of Mrs. Eddy
A colored reproduction of the new portrait of Mary Baker Eddy, by Lieut.-Col. H. Stanley Todd, is announced for sale by the Publishing Society. The reproduction is in two sizes, 8x10 inches and 23¼ x 28¼ inches. The smaller size is mounted on a cardboard folder under a gilt mat; price, $3.50. Large size, unmounted, $10.00.
The New Hymnal
The Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society announces that the revised Christian Science Hymnal will be ready for circulation on or about February 1, 1932. The prices of the new Hymnal will be made known later.

Annual or Quarterly Payment Plan
The Annual or Quarterly Payment Plan has been formulated for those who wish to subscribe for all the Christian Science periodicals on an annual basis with a common termination date. Payment may be made either annually or quarterly as follows:
Annual Payment Plan: One bill for $23.00 will be mailed each year in advance to cover annual subscriptions to The Christian Science Monitor, Sentinel, Journal, Quarterly, The Herald of Christian Science: German, French, Scandinavian, Dutch, and Braille editions. If the German, French, Scandinavian, Dutch, and Braille Heralds are not wanted, the amount to be paid annually will be $16.00. In case the Readers' Quarterly is preferred, please add 40 cents to either amount.
Quarterly Payment Plan: In case it is more convenient to make payment every three months, this may be done, and a bill for $5.75 for The Christian Science Monitor, Sentinel, Journal, Quarterly, The Herald of Christian Science: German, French, Scandinavian, Dutch, and Braille editions, or $4.00 without the Heralds, will be mailed quarterly in advance. An additional 10 cents should be added to each payment if the Readers' Quarterly is desired.
No money need be sent until you receive the bill, as any subscriptions already entered in your name will be adjusted to a common termination date, and a debit or credit shown on your bill. In case you wish to go on record as subscribing to all the periodicals, but do not wish to receive personally any of the Heralds, $6.00 under the Annual Payment Plan, or $1.50 of each remittance under the Quarterly Payment Plan, will be diverted to the fund maintained by the Publishing Society for gift subscriptions.
