MANY years ago Mary Baker Eddy saw and broadly described the world-wide disturbances even then appearing to result from conflicting forces. The individual is in need of experiencing the protection of being rightly cared for, the comfort of being guided and strengthened by a power and love greater than his own. Collectively and individually, people are crying out for the help that can come only through spiritual awakening, through gaining a correct understanding of God and of man's relationship to God, the ever available Principle.
With the world engaged in an effort to overcome these deplorable conditions through uncertain material ways and means, the Christian Scientist feels himself called upon to prove, more than ever before, that his religion provides a perfect spiritual method of correcting all that is wrong in human experience.
