For many years I have been a student of Christian Science, and it has met my every need to the extent that I have lived its teachings. I have learned through many experiences that we have a dependable religion which never fails; and that any seeming failure is due to lack of proper application. We have reared our three children under this helpful guidance, and now our grandchildren are being brought up in the same manner, with a strong reliance on God instead of on material medicine.
Christian Science came into our home through my healing of St. Vitus's dance, which had been pronounced incurable by the physicians. This healing led to the study of Science and Health, and through this study a new world was opened to my vision. It gave me an understanding of God and of man as His image and likeness that has meant everything to me and to my family.
In the year 1923 I was a guest at the Sanatorium of The Christian Science Benevolent Association in Boston, for four weeks. While there I had a few treatments for a physical disorder. After I returned to my own home I discovered that I was healed of an inherited superstition which had troubled me all my life.
