As an expression of gratitude for many proofs of the healing power of Christian Science, I am sending this testimony.
One of my first healings in Christian Science was that of defective eyesight. I had worn glasses for sixteen years. The last time my eyes were examined, the specialist told me that I must wear glasses constantly. He also said that the lenses were next to the strongest that are ground. After faithfully striving to apply the truths of Christian Science, I was healed. Every time I put my glasses on, the thought would come to me that I was using matter, or material means, instead of knowing that God was the only power which could heal; and this thought helped me very much. The healing took place over ten years ago, and I have never used glasses since. I am grateful for the great sense of freedom which has resulted.
My young daughter has had many healings, and I have been so grateful to see diseases disappear in two or three days with no lingering convalescence and no aftereffects.
