I HAVE received so much help from reading the testimonies in the Journal and Sentinel that I desire to express my gratitude to God and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for all Christian Science has done for me. Twenty years ago, when I took up the study of Christian Science, I was a physical wreck, suffering from bronchial asthma and stomach trouble. My healing was very slow because I was seeking the material more than the spiritual. But through faithful study of the Bible and Science and Health I gained the understanding that man is not material but spiritual. I have been entirely free from these ailments for a number of years, and since then I have been healed of constipation and shingles.
I am sincerely grateful for the splendid help received from practitioners and friends, also for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, as well as for class instruction.—, Fort Worth, Texas.
