From the November 1936 issue of The Christian Science Journal

[As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, September 12, 1936]

The only arrangement now approved by the German Government for sending Christian Science literature to Germany is one by which The Mother Church, the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy, and The Christian Science Publishing Society can send literature to branch churches and societies which are recognized as such. Therefore, branch churches, branch societies, and individual Christian Scientists in all other countries are advised not to send any Christian Science literature to Germany, either to branches of The Mother Church, to groups of students, or to individual Christian Scientists.

The literature sent to the branches of The Mother Church in Germany is donated to them, but they can sell it to their members or to other Christian Scientists and put equivalent amounts into their respective literature funds, which must be expended in Germany for purposes connected with Christian Science.
