AN ALBUM OF PHONOGRAPH RECORDS OF WRITINGS BY MARY BAKER EDDY

From the December 1946 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy, publishers of her books, announce the issuance of an album of three 12-inch records for the phonograph, containing brief readings from Mrs. Eddy's books and four of her poems sung as solos. The records are for use on ordinary phonographs.

On one side of the first record are the articles entitled "What Our Leader Says," from page 210 of "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany," and "Angels," from pages 306 and 307 of "Miscellaneous Writings," and on the other side, the Tenets of Christian Science and the Lord's Prayer with its spiritual interpretation, from page 497 and pages 16 and 17, respectively, of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." These selections are read by Harry C. Browne, former First Reader of The Mother Church.

On the second record are "Communion Hymn," beginning "Saw ye my Saviour?" in the setting by Bertha Darst Stewart, and "Mother's Evening Prayer," beginning "O gentle presence," in the setting by Lawrence K. Whipp, both of them sung by Robert Hall Collins, baritone, soloist of The Mother Church.
